Taster Day

A one day introduction into the sport of Paragliding.  The emphasis of the day is on fun and enjoyment, with theory being kept to a minimum.  After we have arrived at a suitable flying site, we initially run through some emergency procedures before introducing you to the equipment and explaining how it all works.  Now the fun really begins with canopy handling practice, carried out initially on the flat but as confidence and ability grows you will start to fly by way of short hops on a gentle slope.  Once you have taking off and landing mastered, flights are gradually increased throughout the afternoon, until the new pilot will undertake a number of flights off a 200-300ft hill under the guidance of our instructors.

This is a truly fulfilling and rewarding day giving you a hands on insight into this fantastic sport.
